The Jazz Gallery, a melting pot of big-name jazz and art in Riverwest for many years, reopened its doors this summer to a new kind of listener on Center Street.

The UWM community obviously isn’t just centralized to the campus itself. Several of Milwaukee’s neighborhoods are ripe with culture and things to do.

The Post asks community activist John Revord a few questions.
