Dont use Virginia Tech tragedy
Shooting victims deserve to be more than just symbols

There really is no other word to describe it. Im sickened. Physically and to the pit of my stomach, my disgust seems to eat at me like a tapeworm.
The words Virginia Tech have been on everyones lips all week, and naturally even UWM doesnt feel as safe as it once did. I wish that I could find something to feel sympathy for in the guy who did this, something that would make him human.

Green license plates for sex offenders
Right now our Wisconsin state legislature is considering a bill that would call for sex offenders to have green license plates as another means of identification. The bill would state that offenders would not be allowed to drive a vehicle without the green license plate.
Many of us want to keep close tabs on sex offenders in our community. The protection of our family and children is of the utmost importance. Under Gov. Jim Doyle, a GPS system has been set up to track and monitor sex offenders.

Imus finally gets canned
The comments that radio talk show host Don Imus directed towards the Rutgers University womens basketball team were completely irresponsible.
African-Americans have a right to be upset. However, they should remember that this kind of racist language in their community has been promoted for years in hip-hop music. The artists within their community that frequently use this language have greatly contributed to a new uprising of this kind of racist language in society.

I want my full freedom, but I am being denied it by our government.
There are laws in the books that tell me I cannot posses certain items but can possess others. The central examples in this ideological debate are the mistakenly polarized arguments over guns and drugs.
