Rob Jeter enjoyed the most successful first year for a coach in University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee history when he took the Panthers to a 22-9 record and the second round of the NCAA tournament. The story has been the same all of this season, however.

Seven seniors gone, least experienced team in D-I, it all rang true in this 2006-2007 campaign. The season was not a complete disaster, but one could argue that it wasnt far off.

More last-place finishes for Bucks

Forbes.com came out with its inaugural ranking of general managers in the four major sports this month, and not unlike the NBA standings, the Milwaukee Bucks are very near the bottom of the list.

Bucks GM Larry Harris ranks 91 out of 98 on the list, which includes general managers with a minimum of three completed seasons on the job.

Wright State finds the right stuff

New head coach Brad Brownell lead the Wright State Raiders to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1993 by beating Butler University, 60-55, March 7.

The Raiders were picked to finish forth in the pre-season Horizon League coaches poll but surprised the entire league by finishing first at the end of the season, and hosting the Horizon League tournament. Wright State shot 45 percent from behind the arch to earn the automatic bid.

How will the Packers replace Green?
