Too cool for school

By Devon Wiesend

I know everyone has been hearing this kind of talk for the last week now, but I simply can“t help it. When I was a kid, we didn“t get off of school because it was too cold.

What exactly is “too cold?”

Obama hysteria worth noticing

By Chris Walker

The hysteria surrounding Sen. Barack Obama is interesting to say the least: Obama is the son of a white mother and an African father, and his potential for being the Democratic candidate for president would make him the first African-American to reach the nomination in either of the two major parties.

Aside from his background, the man has some great ideas, a steady withdrawal from Iraq and universal healthcare among them.

My anti-Valentine“s rant

By Joshua McCracken

We live in a culture that feels this dumb need to sell everything back to us. We were sold patriotism for $9.95 after Sept. 11 (you people are idiots by the way), and this week you“re being sold love, probably even as you“re reading this. WalkinÂ?Â? around the point

By Aaron Matter

It seems in your article that the War Powers Resolution of 1973 is an essential point on which you base your argument.

Here you say that "Congress reasserted its position in war policy by issuing the War Powers Resolution," but it seems it should read that the War Powers Resolution was an attempt by Congress to limit the powers of the President.
