Unique UWM clubs and student organizations

It’s vital to participate in clubs pertaining to your major, but even if you’re undecided and just have some extra free time, club participation is fun and a great way to meet new people.
Everyone knows about Student Association Senate and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Greek life, but there are still dozens of organizations out there that are less widely known but well worth checking out. Keep these in mind next semester, or start getting involved over break.

Porn, football: what’s the difference?

The great gender divide at UWM
Maryland Avenue may literally be dividing line on campus, but it may also be the gender dividing line as well. Allowing some exceptions, the layout of buildings on campus designates the sciences to the west side of the campus and the arts to the east.
“It just seems like I see more girls over here.” said University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee senior Andrew Wirth, referring to the area outside Mitchell Hall on the east side of campus.
