I’m soooo fat

There have been many times when I have been washing my hands in the women’s room and heard women plainly state, “God, I’m so fat!”
These girls are never actually fat (or even slightly heavy), nor are they speaking to anyone specific. They are skinny, insecure young women who are searching for a compliment. Well, I won’t play their game.

The other day I was seated in a local coffeehouse that shall remain nameless, mainly because I don’t want the Post to be sued for slander.
I’ll level with you, I hate the place, I was only there due to desperation for coffee and cigarettes while I studied, and I hate the people who frequent it.

Smoking causes mingling
I was appalled to read an article last week telling of a smoking ban in the UWM Union, the epicenter of social gatherings on campus. This smoking ban is just another unnecessary obstacle that affects the unity within the student body.
