Putting scandals in perspective

Here we go, another scandal involving U.S. troops in a combat zone. I’m getting tired of hearing about military scandals.

Not that I’m tired of them happening, I’m just tired of hearing about them. I don’t condone some of the actions that have taken place, but most of them have been overblown.

When something bad happens, a nice way that we try and rationalize it is by telling ourselves that some day down the road, we will look back at this moment and laugh hysterically.

My life is full of those moments. And yes, some of the things that I have done I am now able to laugh about.
