Freshman center leads win over Loyola
UWM starts second half on 26-11 run

The University of Loyola at Chicago women's basketball team had its work cut out following its thrilling overtime victory, topping Cleveland State University in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament, 85-82 in overtime.
In the conference season, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee freshman center Traci Edwards torched Loyola for 43 points and 20 rebounds in just two games. The team didn't have an answer for the 6-foot-2-inch post machine, who ranks 14th in the nation in field goal percentage.

Davis leads Panthers to league championship game
The energy at the U.S. Cellular Arena was nothing short of spectacular as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men’s basketball team defeated the Loyola Ramblers 80-66 in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament.
Senior guard Boo Davis set the tone for the Panthers on Saturday, March 4, scoring the team’s first 10 points. The “Big Three” of Davis and seniors Adrian Tigert and Joah Tucker combined for 57 points with Davis leading the way with 20 and 10 rebounds, his first career double-double. Tucker also poured in 20 while Tigert added 17.

Blackcat Frisbee tries to fly
Many people probably have heard of or played ultimate Frisbee, but many people probably have not heard of Blackcat Ultimate, the club ultimate Frisbee team at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
“The team actually just got started when some guys from my floor in the dorms just started playing,” said junior Trent Fleege, a member of the team.
