Win puts team in first-place tie

The weather might be a little chilly as of late, but students looking to warm up can head to the Klotsche Center to watch the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women’s basketball team scorch their opponents.

The Panthers won their sixth straight game Feb. 16, vanquishing the visiting Detroit Titans 69-55. The Panthers have won an astounding 11 of their last 12 games, their only loss coming by just two points to Butler in late January.

Losing the home momentum

In the last few weeks, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team has gone through two major ups and downs.

The road trip gone badly in Wright State and Butler left the Panthers in a bad way, while the total beat downs of Youngstown State and Cleveland State warmed the hearts of fans.
