The online University of Phoenix has officially announced what is believed to be the first online university Athletic Department. The University of Phoenix and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 are teaming up on what many are considering one of the most ground-breaking moves in recent sports history.

According to a recent survey, a majority of UW-Milwaukee students were shocked to find out their university had an athletics program.

Assuredly, most of us know our favorite athletes by their achievements on the field of play; but we mustn’t let their other exploits, some of them greater than anything they’ve ever achieved in any match or game, go unnoticed. Specifically, athlete business ventures have produced some of the more noticeable products on today’s market, and we are all better for them.

David Stern announced this past weekend that the Cleveland Cavaliers will win the NBA Finals this coming June, beating the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.
