On Sep. 29, a heated class discussion in Mitchell Hall between two UWM students led to a physical altercation in the Union after class. UWM Police issued one of the students a citation.
UWM Police were informed of a suspicious smell in Sandburg Hall Sept. 29. However, no cause was discovered upon investigation.
A theft of a wallet was reported to UWM Police Sept. 30. It was said to have been taken from a business near Kenilworth Square.
On Oct. 1, UWM Police were alerted of two people stuck in a Fine Arts Center elevator. The passengers were freed safely from the elevator after a few minutes.
A suspicious smell was reported in Sandburg Hall Oct. 1. Two students were taken into custody and issued citations for possession of drug paraphenilia and possession of marijuana.
A student told UWM Police Oct. 2 that he spotted a bike that was previously stolen from him locked up on a UWM campus bike rack. However, he hadn’t reported the bike stolen in the first place and therefore had no substantial evidence that it was his bike.
On Oct. 3, medical assistance was required for a UWM student who had been drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. The student was taken to Columbia Hospital.
UWM Police were informed of a student trying to use a Sandburg Hall microwave to set off the fire alarm system on Oct. 3. The case was linked to another involving possession of marijuana.
