*UWM student regains consciousness
22-year-old UWM student, Kristin Molitor has gained consciousness again and is breathing on her own according to Froedert Hospital officials. Earlier this month, Molitor was struck by a truck during a fund raiser for her sorority.

MPS board back away from idea of dissolving the district
The Milwaukee Public School board will longer push for a plan to dissolve the district, but instead voted last Thursday to examine the district’s financial situation and called upon MPS Superintendent William Andrekopoulos to create a three year financial projection of the schools.
