A UWM police officer on bicycle spotted a male student throwing up in some bushes in front of Garland Hall Sept. 19. A sober friend was arranged to come take care of him.
UWM Police were called to the scene of a car accident by a UWM S.A.F.E. walker on Sept. 20. An intoxicated non-student reportedly struck 2 vehicles.
On the evening of Sept. 20, UWM Police issued 24 underage drinking citations at a house party on the 3300 block of N. Downer Ave.
A S.A.F.E. walker reported a student throwing a bottle at an apartment building on North Oakland Avenue Sept. 21. Nothing was damaged and the student was not charged.
On Sept. 22, UWM Police were alerted to suspicious activity in a campus computer lab, involving a male and a female arguing. When police showed up, the couple was gone.
UWM Police received information of a young man planning to jump off of the North Avenue bridge on Sept. 22. Fortunately, he didn’t jump after police got to him and made sure that he was fine.
A man who had a federal warrant was arrested Sept. 23 by UWM Police. They turned the suspect over to the U.S. Marshalls.
A party in Sandburg Halls Sept. 25 resulted in 3 underage drinking citations.
Also on Sept. 25, a male UWM student was struck in the face by an ex-roommate. The victim refused medical attention for a black eye, while the assailant was arrested by UWM Police.
