Oct. 30 “Field of Dreams”

“If you build it, he will come.” This is just one of the voices that Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella starts to hear as he is farming his land. Ray responds to this voice by constructing a baseball field on his property. After building the field, several members of the 1919 Chicago White Sox appear to play on the field that Ray has created. Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones star in this ultimate baseball movie.

Oct. 31-Nov. 4 “Superbad”

Two less-than-popular high school guys attempt to lose their virginity to their dream girls with the help of alcohol consumption at a crazy house party. But, what the guys soon realize, is that it would be easier to actually tell the girls they are into them than it is to count on alcohol to take care of their business. Jonah Hill and Michael Cera co-star in this classic high school comedy.

Look for the Flick’s Film Festival happening Thursday, Nov. 12 in the Flick’s theatre.
