A laptop was stolen from the Union Terrace around 7:45 p.m. on March 13. The owner of the laptop turned away from the table it was located on and the computer was stolen during that time. Victim reported a suspicious person watching her. The red Mac was valued at $1200.

A wallet was found and brought to the Campus Police Department on March 15th. Upon searching the contents, officers found a fake Wisconsin ID, which the owner admitted was used to buy alcohol and enter bars. She was issued a $504 citation.

On March 18 at 9:58 p.m. several patrons of Lemon on Oakland called in a man urinating in the alley adjacent to the bar. When police arrived they found a man relieving himself on the north wall of the building. He was issued a warning.

On March 19 room 336 of Curtin Hall, which is used by graduate students for creating the Cream City Review, was discovered to be vandalized. A dell monitor valued at $300 was broken, papers and other items were strewn throughout the room, inappropriate drawings were present, and a half empty Miller Genuine Draft was also discovered. The room was last seen in intact on the 14th. Nothing was reported missing.

A drunk driving ticket was issued March 24 at 2:16 a.m. The driver was traveling the wrong way down a one-way street. The officer performed a field sobriety test, which the driver failed. The suspect’s blood alcohol content was .18.

A UWM student received citations for underage drinking and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 24 at 11:52 p.m. Police were dispatched to the north tower of Sandburg hall and met with University Housing about a suspicious odor. The student consented to a room search, in which officers found a Gatorade bottle filled with drier sheets, a cigarette one-hitter, and a bottle of vodka.

On March 26 a backpack was stolen from the Union Bookstore between 3:17 and 3:24 p.m. The victim left the North Face bag unattended behind the cash registers. Loss valued at $413.50. Using security camera footage, Police have a suspect in this case.

An underage male was found passed out on a chair in an East Tower common area on March 26 at 6:07 p.m. Police roused the unresponsive male with an ammonia packet, and upon awakening the suspect said “Damn.” He was placed into custody and received his 5th underage drinking ticket in the past year, which costs $756.
