Chris Dankert, Any Potter and Josh Strang were best buddies since 8th grade. Now all three of them share a room in West Tower and life has been ever sweeter. They say their room is perfect because of its it reflects their laid back personalities (and heritage.) Read below their honest answers to living the suite life.

Q: Before moving to Sandburg, did you ever share a room with anybody?
C.D: No, until now I lived at home and had my own room
J.S: Yes.
A.P: No, always had a room to myself.

**Q: What did you think of when you first met each other? Did you think that your living situation would work out as well as it has been?**
A.P: Well, let’s be completely honest, I knew the 2 hooligans I live with before we moved here. I went to high school with them and have been best friends with them since 8th grade. The situation has been better than I thought.

Q: How would you describe each of your roommates in one word?
C.D: Andy: Crazy, Josh: Awesome together: Crazy-Awesome
A.P. Josh: Ridiculous, Chris: Organized
J.S: Andy : Special, Chris: Different

Q: How would you describe yourself in three words?
C.D: “Laid-back” “Relaxed” and “Chill” (You said three words, not three different characteristics.)
J.S: Very, very cool.
A.P: Funny, ridiculous and organized

**Q: Next year, do you all plan on living together again whether it is in a house or East Tower?**
C.D: We all plan on living together in an apartment off campus

**Q: Do any of you have girlfriends? If so, how does that work out when one of you wants alone time with her?**
C.D: All of us have girlfriends. Usually it’s whoever asks for the room first gets it but worst case if everyone wants the room there is a “contract” that sets out rules on how to handle these things.
J.S: Go to their room.

Q: What are the good things about having roommates?
C.D: These guys are my best friends.
J.S: Manliness.
A.P: Someone to help motivate you to get out of bed and go to class or do homework

Q: What are the bad things?
C.D: Honestly there really are no bad points to living with these guys. If anything, it’s sad because I haven’t gotten to see them that much lately (if you can believe that).
A.P: Sometimes you just need alone time and it isn’t easy to get with two other roommates.
J.S: Womanliness.

Q: Is there anything about one of your roommates that you eventually had to succumb to?
C.D: Not really, it was an adjustment first semester when I had early classes and the other guys didn’t get up until afternoon, I guess.
J.S: One of them sleeps naked and I m not saying who.

Q: When you walk into your room, what do you feel?
C.D: It’s really an atmosphere of camaraderie. It’s a fun place to come back to everyday.
J.S: A sexy good time.
A.P: I would have to say our room has a sense of, “Let’s PARTY!” or “Let’s hangout and have a good time.”

Q: How did you all decide on the decorations of your room?
C.D: It’s really collaboration between all of us to add something. Our furniture has really become a decoration itself.
J.S: With a lot of beer stuff.
A.P: I had some pretty cool street signs that some of my friends got me that we all agreed we wanted to hang and Josh and I got flags to hang on the walls (Mine the German flag and Josh’s the Irish flag.)

Q: Can you describe what it is that makes your room unique?
C.D: Because we have the larger room set up as a living room with the two futons, game systems and the TV we always have friends and guests over. We’ve met a lot of people by just chillin’ in our room.
J.S: Two futons.
A.P. Many people that have walked in say it’s the coolest and best layout they’ve ever seen. Being able to seat a little upwards of six people makes it a good time to hang out and play video games or watch some movies or just chat it up. We couldn’t get alone time from our roommates let alone our other friends on the floor. But it was great; we made some really good friends really fast.

Q: Do you have a lot of get-togethers with other friends in your room?
C.D: On an almost constant basis.
A.P. First semester there was CONSTANTLY someone in our room who didn’t live there.

Q: What kind of TV do you have in there? Whose is it?
C.D: It’s a 38” TV in the living room and has gotten plenty of use this year.
J.S: That would be yours truly.

Q: It’s a rainy day. You don’t have much homework, there is nothing on TV and you don’t feel like going to Klotsche. What are you most likely to be doing?
C.D: Probably playing video games with the guys, reading or playing sheep’s head.
J.S: Call of Duty 4 or card games.
A.P: Hands down without a doubt you will catch Josh and I playing Call of Duty 4 on Xbox live and probably catch Chris napping or doing some reading.

Q: Anything else you want to add about your cool room or roommates??
C.D: Not really but both have made this an awesome freshman year. West 440 boys!
J.S: We are all very manly and macho.
A.P: My roommates have proven to be the best I could have chosen because they both know how to have a good time no matter the situation.
