A one foot by one foot black safe was reported stolen from a student’s room on the 16th floor of the East tower of Sandburg hall March 2, at 5:20 p.m. Inside the safe was a wallet containing $200 cash, ID and credit cards, a total value of $270. Police determined there was no sign of forced entry and the victim couldn’t remember if they had locked their door or not, but had noticed that keys to the safe were also missing.
A custodial supervisor reported March 5 that eight rolls of toilet paper had been stolen from men’s and women’s bathrooms in Mitchell Hall. On March 3, five rolls were noticed missing, with 3 more gone missing the following day. The tissue dispensers were not damaged in the process, and the total value of the toilet paper stolen was $20.
