UWM Alum named administrator of the Division of Criminal Investigation
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has named Michael Myszewski as the next administrator of the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). Myszewski graduated from UWM in 1982. His term will begin Sunday, March 9.
35th annual Juried Art Show runs March 7 through April 4
Milwaukee student artists will be presenting their artwork in a variety of mediums. The exhibit is juried by local art professionals who will award prizes to artists. It is held in the Union Art Gallery. The show was bumped up this year since it is usually held in May.
Women Without Borders Film Series is back
Held Tuesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 15, the series will feature new works by and about women that explore the experiences, challenges, triumphs and questions that affect the lives of women everywhere. Shows start nightly at 7 p.m. in the Union Theatre.
Former Student Association President Rueden has motion denied
Motions in the case of former SA President Russell Rueden were denied in a hearing on March 3, with further proceedings slated for April 18. With the court denials, Rueden can now either plead guilty or no contest, appeal the motion denial, ask to set a trial date, or file additional motions.
