A wallet containing $800 cash was stolen from a man’s sweatshirt while he played basketball at the Klotsche Center on Jan. 31. The man said he put the sweatshirt on the side of the court at around 6:00 p.m. and realized it was gone at around 8:00 p.m.
A purse was stolen from underneath a table in the Union at around 4:00 p.m. Feb. 5. The woman said she left her table and realized a few minutes later that she didn’t have her purse and when she returned it was gone. Inside the purse was a DV recorder and a WISN electronic key card, together valued at $150.
Police were called at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 30 after someone tried using another person’s driver’s license to gain entry to the dorms. When police arrived the person had already left.
A woman noticed her cell phone was missing at around 3:45 p.m. Feb.4 and retraced her steps to a water fountain in Lubar and a copy machine in the Union without finding it. Later when the woman’s husband called the phone he heard loud rap music but no one answered. The phone was valued at $100.
