3rd District Debate

A forum debate for 3rd District Aldermanic Candidates will be held Monday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. in room 191 of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Union. The debate is sponsored by the UWM Student Association. The debate is slated to last until 9 p.m.

New South Side Bus Stop and Commuter Lot Opens

Thanks to Rockwell Automation, a new bus stop and free commuter parking lot opened last Tuesday on Polcyn Street, between Scott and Madison Street near the Rockwell plant on the city’s south side. The lot will be used by students who ride the 40U bus to campus. The route was extended three blocks and gets students a bit closer to downtown.
