Theft

On Jan. 14 at about 10:30 p.m., a pair of $900 glasses were stolen from a table in the Golda Meir Library. The glasses were taken from the second floor of the West Wing and are still missing.

A 24-year-old male was arrested and issued two citations for retail theft and possession of a dangerous weapon. The man attempted to steal two textbooks from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee bookstore at 4:47 p.m. on Jan. 16. The books were valued at $262. He was also carrying a knife, which was not used in the theft.
