Nov. 12: 1st Annual Flicks Film Festival

Come check out this brand new event in Flicks on Monday Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. The top six films of the competition will be showcased for residents to vote on. Grab your friends and enjoy a night of locally created film masterpieces.

Nov. 13: A Scanner Darkly

Bob Arctor leads a double life in this 2006 drama starring Robert Downey Jr., Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder. Arctor (Reeves) works as a detective in Los Angeles telling on those who he catches participating in any drug-related activities. However, Arctor himself is an avid drug dealer and user. The stress from leading two very different lives pushes him over the edge.

Nov. 14-18: Right at your Door

In this 2006 thriller, the city of Los Angeles is severely attacked when four dirty bombs go off. Chris Gorak directs and writes the film, which won two awards at the Sundance Film Festival. After the bombs explode, a scared husband (Rory Cochrane) desperately attempts to warn his wife (Mary McCormack), but is not able to reach her, leaving him hoping that his wife survives the tragic day in L.A.
