On Oct. 26, an individual was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. An officer arrested the individual on a routine patrol of the Downer Woods. The individual had three bags of weed, and 2 glass pipes. When asked what was in the bags, the individual replied, “It’s pot.”

On Oct. 29, a laptop and chord attachments were stolen from the 10th floor at Sandburg East. The room and suite doors were left unlocked. The incident occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Also, on Oct. 29, another laptop was stolen along with a wallet on the 15th floor of Sandburg East. The incident occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Total losses amounted to about $840. Again, the door was left unlocked.

On Oct. 29, between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., another laptop and television were stolen from the 17th floor of Sandburg East. The room was left unlocked .The theft amounted to roughly $5,825. However, later than day, the laptop was returned to the doorstep of the owner.

On Oct. 30, a bicycle was stolen from the southeast corner of the E.M.S. building.

On Oct. 31, officers found a lost purse containing three I.D. cards. The owner of the purse was a 20-year-old female. The purse contained two other I.D. cards of individuals who were 24 and 27-years-old. She admitted to using them for alcohol purchases and was charged.

On Oct. 2, a suspicious smell wafted through the halls of Sandburg East tower. Officers were dispatched to the room and a male greeted them at the door. He admitted to smoking marijuana out of a glass pipe in the room. He was later charged.
