Feminists everywhere are praising Beyonce for her inspirational words of wisdom: Just replace one cheating lying man with another.
Official Announcement: youngsters need to turn down that crap they call music. These words, which pass as lyrics, are laughable.
Music that plays on the radio gives todays culture a plethora of useless words to sing along. This generation does not care about important issues of the world; just creating some beat to shake ones booty too.
This chick called Beyonce has a song called Irreplaceable. The song begins: To the left/ to the left/ to the left/ to the left/ to the left/ to the left. Makes me wonder if she knows she has a right side as well.
Apparently, it is crucial for the listeners to know the box is to the left of the closet. Later in the same song the lyrics go: I can have another you in a minute / in fact hell be here any minute. Feminists everywhere are praising Beyonce for her inspirational words of wisdom: Just replace one cheating lying man with another.
Justin Timberlakes song, Sexyback, hit airwaves with a smash. A section of the song: Girl let me make up for the things you lack / because you are burning up I got to get it fast. One little suggestion to the guys out there, wait until after sex to point out a girls shortcomings. Although I do have a question for Timberlake: Do you need a receipt to bring sexyback?
Apparently, an artist, Lil Mama released a song, Lip Gloss. I do not think I have to share lyrics to evoke brain aneurysms, but here is a little sample: They say my lip gloss is cool / my lip gloss be poppin / all the boys be jockin/ they chasing me after school. Chap stick is good; it makes my lips soft and sweet, however, writing a sonnet (or song) about chap stick is not in order. In addition, when the boys be jockin, it does not sound like a good thing.
A popular song by Akon called I wanna love you, has lyrics saying: Im far from a scrub/and you know my pedigree / ex-deala use to move phetamines. In a society where being an ex-drug dealer is a positive trait in a mate, individuals need to step back and reevaluate life choices. Perhaps, being rich is not the most important thing in life.
I know I may sound like an old fart, but I dont think its too much to ask for a little more meaning and a little less sexism and stupidity in the top 40.
