Slam.
Far from just being the hit by one-hit wonder Onyx in the early 90s, it is the best word to use when describing the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukees dominance over South Dakota States tennis team Saturday in Kohler, Wis.
Milwaukee won 7-0, sweeping all six singles matches and all three doubles matches. No. 1 player Kelly Drvaric swept Kristine Hagedorn of SDSU, 6-1 6-1.
The closest any South Dakota State player got to a victory was losing 6-2, 6-1. It happened twice, as Ashley Schoneman and Traci Litscher defeated Amy Albrecht and Carrie Jansen, respectively.
The doubles were no different, as the Panthers continued their dominance over the Jackrabbits. Kari Kastenholz and Ali ONeal took the No. 1 doubles match over Hagedorn and Jennifer Sondreal, 8-3.
Drvaric and Schoneman teamed up to take down Jansen and Caitlin Brannen, 8-0 in the most lopsided victory of the year for the Panther women.
Milwaukee returns to action on Thursday against IPFW, and it continues their road trip the next day with a conference match-up at Detroit.
