Drugs/alcohol
An 18-year-old male who is not a student received a citation on allegations of underage possession of alcohol at 8:03 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. The man was allegedly carrying a bottle of watermelon vodka and a bottle of raspberry vodka through the Sandburg Commons.
A male student and four female students were cited on allegations of underage possession of alcohol in Sandburg Halls East Tower at 11:36 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. University police were alerted to the situation by Sandburg security.
Theft
A male student reported an iPod stolen from the Athletic Department Tutoring Center in the Klotsche Center at 11:33 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19. The iPod had a reported value of $250.
A male student reported cash, a cell phone and a debit card worth an estimated $332 stolen from a locker in the Klotsche Center mens locker room at 3:37 on Monday, Feb. 19. The locker was reportedly left unlocked.
A female student reported her purse stolen at 2:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The purse, worth an estimated $80, was reportedly left unattended on a table in the Union Ballroom for 30 minutes.
A male student reported cash, a cell phone and other items stolen from a locker in the mens locker room at the Klotsche Center at 1:49 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21. The total value on the stolen goods was estimated at $185. The mans locker was reportedly left unlocked.
Two males who are not students were arrested on allegations of breaking into cars on the 3400 block of N. Downer Avenue at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. The men were reportedly seen breaking into two cars when police were notified by an eyewitness.
Other
A male student had his pocketknife confiscated from his room in Sandburg Halls South Tower at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18. He was not charged with anything.
A 20-year-old male who is not a student was arrested on allegations of attempting to cash a forged check at the Credit Union at 1:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The check in question was reportedly worth $300.
A 19-year-old male student received citations on allegations of shoplifting and underage possession of alcohol at 4:54 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The man reportedly stole $25.32 worth of merchandise from the UWM Bookstore, including a Sesame Street purse and a bottle of Minute Maid orange juice. He was also found with a bottle of beer and a bottle of tequila in his possession.
A female who is not a student reported her purse stolen in the Union Terrace at 9:55 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. UWM Police discovered there were three warrants out for the woman for disorderly conduct, assault and trespassing. The woman, who was allegedly drunk at the time, was brought into the UWM Police station.
A 19-year-old male student was arrested on allegations of underage drinking, assault and vandalism at 2:05 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. The man was reportedly fighting with his ex-girlfriend in Sandburg Halls North Tower.
