The Oscars claim to celebrate the best in Hollywood. To prime up for Hollywood“s big night, let us look at the blunders studios have made. No remakes or sequels considered, as they make the list too obvious.

K-PAX:

This film does not show Kevin Spacey“s finest hour playing a could-be alien. The back and forth of wondering if Spacey“s character could be an alien would make tennis enthusiasts tired.

Troy:

The only way to enjoy this movie is to fast-forward to Brad Pitt“s scenes and play on mute.

Panic Room:

A two-hour suspense movie that takes place in a room about the size of a closet makes Alfred Hitchcock roll in his grave.

Vanilla Sky:

The point where Tom Cruise went insane was during the movie shoot.

Ali:

This movie was more of a music video with 30 minutes dedicated to Will Smith running with poor African children. Bono should use that idea for the next U2 music video.

Brazil:

A dark critique on bureaucracy - it just hurts to watch.

Shakespeare in Love:

This movie won an Oscar for best actress, but the academy just wanted Gwyneth off their backs.

What Dreams May Come:

Two Oscar winners could not save this movie from being horrible. Also with the psychedelic color changes, the viewer wishes for drugs to make the time go by faster.

SWAT:

One thing that makes Colin Farwell less attractive, besides knowing he slept with Britney Spears.

Signs:

See anti-Semitic Mel Gibson in this preachy suspense film of one-movie wonder M. Night Shyamalan.
