Make sure to take that cast off your funny bone because the new season of “Scubs” is starting. Everyone’s favorite medical comedy is back and the hijinks have never been goofier.
Considering the dramatic finale last season, it will be interesting to see how those events affect the show’s always charming personality. If you missed any of the action late last year, the episodes are replaying on NBC Wednesday nights at 9:00 and 9:30 p.m.
“Scrubs,” for those of you who don’t own a television and have been living in a cave with Osama, is centered around young doctor John Dorian (or “J.D.”) and his friends and co-workers at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Bringing viewers up to speed, if you can’t watch last season’s episodes: Turk and Carla’s baby is in its final trimester, J.D. impregnates his urologist and Dr. Cox and Jordan found out that they also have another child on the way.
With that in mind, one would think this season will be the best one yet. The show continues to perfect its style of comedy and get better every year like a fine wine.
With Dr. Cox and J.D. now sharing a similar situation it will be interesting to add a different element to the interactions between the sensei and the grasshopper. The best part of the show is definitely Janitor and his never-ending quest to get inside J.D.’s head. Every second he is on screen is comedic gold and should be appreciated in its entirety.
