Unclothed�The Naked Truth: A survivor�s stories on sexual abuse and healing
YWCA Playhouse at 7 p.m.
Come and see this powerful play based on the accounts of several women�s experiences and how they overcame their fears. YWCA Playhouse is located at 1915 N. Martin Luther King Drive. This event is free and open to the public.
Tuesday, Feb. 13
The Reality of African-American Youth
UWM Wisconsin Room at 12 - 2 p.m.
Three members of community organizations come to discuss their experiences working with African-American youths in an urban setting. Campaign against Violence, Running Rebels and Urban Underground will be present to discuss and answer any questions. Admission to this discussion is free and open to the public.
Wednesday, Feb. 14
Men�s Basketball vs. Loyola of Chicago
U.S. Cellular Arena at 7:30 p.m.
Come and see the Milwaukee Panthers try to dominate Loyola of Chicago. Tickets are free to students with an I.D. and a shuttle to and from the game will be available.
Thursday, Feb. 15
I Am First- Simple Practices to Alleviate Stress
UWM Union Multicultural student lounge at noon-1:30 p.m.
Do classes and work leave you stressed out at the end of the day? If so, or if you would like to learn some calming techniques, come to the Multicultural Lounge on Thursday to learn simple moves and stretches. Tai Chi movements, calming breath techniques and simple finger holds are just some of the movements that will be demonstrated.
Friday, Feb. 16
Planetarium Show: The Birth of a Star
UWM Planetarium in the Physics Building at 7 p.m.
This series on stars is the first to document the life of a star. The series runs every Friday until Feb. 23. Admission to this viewing is free and open to the public.
Saturday, Feb. 17
2007 Oscar Nominated Shorts
Times Cinema at 7 p.m.
See the nominated actors, actresses and films before the awards are even presented. The Times Cinema is located at 5906 W. Vilet St. For ticket prices and more information call 253-2436.
Sunday, Feb. 18
Festival of Films in French
UWM Union Theatre, multiple showings between 1-7 p.m.
