In today’s high-tech world even our undergarments are evolving.

As far as technology goes, there is always room for improvement, and this is evident in almost every facet of our everyday lives.

So what exactly are some of the newest developments in the bra world?

There is one name that is synonymous when it comes to ladies’ lingerie, especially bras, and that name is, of course, Victoria’s Secret.

Since its creation in the early 1970s, Victoria’s Secret has been credited with bringing attention to women’s lingerie more than any other brand.

The company is not only renowned for its sexy and romantic style, but also for some of the most cutting-edge bra technology to date.

As most women know, finding a bra that fits, is comfortable and looks good even under tight-fitting clothes is no easy task.

However, thanks to the new products Victoria’s Secret has developed, these problems are a thing of the past.

The first product is known as the IPEX. This particular variety of bra is credited with offering weightless coverage and minimal padding, but at the same time it also provides complete nipple coverage.

Next we have the Secret Embrace. This particular type of bra is great for wearing under snug-fitting tops because of its one piece, seam-free, label-free and stitch-free technology.

Then we have the BioFit. This is the latest development in push-up bras. The BioFit offers a personalized fit for each cup size to give specific enhancement to every body type.

Last, we have Victoria’s Secrets’ latest development, the Infinity Edge. This type of bra is also credited with fitting well under tight-fitting tops because of its revolutionary design. The bra becomes nearly invisible while under clothes but still offers support to the wearer.

Because all of this technology has been patented by Victoria’s Secret, they are the only company that offers these particular names and styles.

All styles range from about $40 to $60 depending on size and style. They can be found at every Victoria’s Secret location, in the Victoria’s Secret catalog or online at victoriassecret.com.

So, next time you are out looking to find the perfect bra, swing by Victoria’s Secret and experience first hand how technology makes our lives easier.

How to figure out your bra size:

Measure your frame size. This is done by measuring the diameter around your chest just below your breasts.

Determine your bra size. To determine the bra size, add 5 to your frame measurement. If the number you get after adding 5 is odd, round up to the next even number because some bra sizes are only even numbers. The number you end up with is your bra size.

Determine your breast size. (This measurement should be taken while wearing a comfortable bra.) To determine your breast size, measure around the chest over and including the fullest part of your bust which is usually at the level of the nipples. This is the diameter of your chest + breast.

Calculate cup size. To calculate cup size take your chest + breast measurement and subtract your bra size. That remaining number is your cup size. Look at the chart to determine which cup size it will translate to.

Finally, put a name to your size. Take your bra size number and your cup size number and you will have your actual bra size. (32-A, 36-B, 34-D, etc…)

Chest + breast size minus bra size Cup Size

0 to 1/2 inch *AA*

1/2 to 1 inch A

1 to 2 1/2 inches B

2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches C

3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches D

4 1/2 to 6 inches DD (E)

6 to 7 inches DDD (F)

7 to 8 inches G

etc.
