Jon Hayden's letter to the editor was insulting and judgmental. Where does he get off pointing the finger at UWM students when practically all college students (and the general citizenry of the United States) are guilty of his accusations?

Apathy and ignorance run rampant in society at large, not just at UWM. So what if we don't have the greatest voter turn-out on our campus? Is it really that much higher at UW-Green Bay?

There are a lot of concerned, dedicated and vigilant students at UWM that do care about politics all the time, not just when there is "shady business." If Mr. Hayden wants to piss and moan about corruption, he should take a look at the Bush administration. They probably have more influence on his life than the internal affairs of a college he doesn't even go to.

I hope Mr. Hayden sent a copy of his letter to every campus newspaper in the UW System. Hopefully, his holier-than-thou tunnel vision is not so focused on UWM that he cannot see the same problems happening everywhere.

I guess when you view the world from the back of your high horse, Mr. Hayden, it's easy to condemn others, especially when they're a safe distance from your back-woods, rural campus in Green Bay.
