Theft

A bicycle was stolen from the bike rack by the South Tower of Sandburg Residence Hall the afternoon of Aug. 28. The bike, belonging to a female student, has an estimated value of $70.

A 55-year-old man was escorted out of Chapman Hall on the morning of Aug. 28 after becoming unruly. The man, who is not a student, was at the reception desk outside Chancellor Carlos Santiago’s office demanding a discounted admission to the Klotsche Center because he was disabled. No charges were filed.

Campus police were dispatched to Mellencamp Hall after a 52-year-old male student allegedly threatened employees at the Financial Aid Office on Aug. 30. The student became unruly and forced his way into the office. Campus authorities called 911 and the student was taken away by Milwaukee police.

A 20-year-old male student was stopped walking down Maryland Avenue allegedly with a case of beer in hand the night of Aug. 30. Upon searching him, campus police also found marijuana. The student was arrested on allegations of possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol.
