“I am on your side” – Pete Yorn – Katie Schmitt, the newly engaged features editor who can't stop staring at her ring “It reminds me of my past relationships, and how glad I am to be done with them.”
“The Reflex” – Duran Duran – Matthew Bellehumeur, editor in chief “The perfect mix of synth, pop and rock. Simon LeBon is my hero.”
“What a Wonderful World” – Louis Armstrong – Robb Manning, writer of Robb’s Rants, editorial editor “It paints such a vivid picture, and feels almost euphoric. I think they play this song in heaven.”
“Roads” – Portishead – Diego Costa, A&E editor “This is too cruel to have to only choose one. But it is simply impossible to get sick of this Portishead song, no matter what phase I am in. I played it five times a day all through high school, so my mom loathes it.”
“Criminal” – Fiona Apple – Sara DeKeuster, photo editor “It is mysterious, sexy, and arousing. It breaks all the rules that 'good' girls should follow. And in the end are we looking for redemption or the need to sin?” just kidding don't put that last one.
“She Bangs” – William Hung – Jason Behlke, production editor “I get a lot of grief about this.”
