So, you’re a college student and you have achieved all your financial goals: a mansion on the lake, a revolving closet full of designer digs and that sweet ride with a navigator system. Ah!

Well … maybe not, but at least you have a free navigator system: your life philosophy. It may take some time and introspection, but a solid philosophy on life may help you score that beachside home someday.

“Live life for yourself and not for others.”

Krista Mattingly, *18, said life is too short to care about what others think. *

“That’s a damn hard question.”

Peter Foy, 21, lives by the mantra “The weekend is coming.”

“Get your job done and have fun doing it … that’s pretty much what I do.”

Emma-Lee Neumann, 22.

“Finish college.”

London Williams, 18, is focused on completing each phase of becoming an architect.

“Fun is a way of measuring how well you use your life.”

Joe Tousignant, 22, said it is also important to make sure the people around you are having fun.

“Make use of all life’s opportunities.”

Yessenia Rodriguez, 20, said “doors continue to open everyday” and if someone hesitates, that person is taking the bigger risk.
