Alcohol/Drugs

A 19-year-old male guest was arrested for underage possession on March 3 at 4:07 p.m. in the Sandburg Commons. UWM Police saw he was carrying a large gym bag, which he had difficulty carrying, and noticed a bottle shape at the bottom of the bag. When asked if he was carrying anything illegal, the man said yes and produced a 1.75 liter bottle of lime vodka. He was issued a citation for $251.50.

An 18-year-old female guest was warned and released on March 3 at 7:39 p.m. after UWM police confiscated a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka the woman carried in her backpack through the Sandburg Commons.

An 18-year-old male guest was arrested for possession of marijuana on March 3 at 8:48 p.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious smell coming from a dorm in the North Tower of Sandburg Hall, where they found a blunt of marijuana that the guest said was his. He was issued a citation for $376.50.

Assault

A 20-year-old female student was arrested on allegations of battery on Feb. 28 at 10:20 p.m. The woman punched another 20-year-old female student and pulled her hair, believing the victim was talking behind her back. When the woman was arrested, police found a driver’s license in her jeans pocket that was not hers. She said she had the ID for four years and had not worn the jeans since she put it in her pocket.

Theft

An Architecture professor reported that an unknown white male took $13 worth of food from a room in the Architecture and Urban Planning Building on Feb. 27 at 12:22 p.m.

A 19-year-old male was arrested on allegations of retail theft on Feb. 28 at 3:57 p.m. The man allegedly stole three tacos from Taco Bell in the Union. He said he was going to go to the cash register near Burger King to pay for them, but ran away. The tacos were valued at $3.
