US Bank offers UWM Visa card

From spelling out UWM during the Sweet 16 in the windows of the tallest building in Milwaukee to acting as corporate sponsor of major events, US Bank has always been an adamant supporter of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

And now, starting this summer, they went one step further and created an affinity partnership with the UWM Alumni Association in which all members and staff are eligible to receive a UWM Visa card, from which a portion of all sales goes back to the school.

With every purchase a royalty goes back to the alumni association that goes toward scholarships and events such as the upcoming 50-year reunion, Panther Prowl and UWM Day at Miller Park.

The card’s three designs include the Panther and familiar scenes from around campus.

“It’s great publicity,” said Andria Stimpson, executive director of Alumni Relations. “Every time they pull out the card, it promotes UWM.”

To find out more information about the card, call 1-800-853-5576 ext. 8450 or go to https://appcenter.usbank.com/customizedPricing/home.do?locationId=9482
