The skies are still a little dreary, so it might be good to think of some dreams for the future — big ones.
“Own my own medical research company one day.”
Shawn Schelnutt, 23, would like to find a cure for cancer and help repair spinal cord injuries. The biological science student plans to work toward his goal by “getting as many A’s as possible.”
“Tour the country.”
David Fitzpatrick, 20, just got signed with Mouthstatic Records for his one-man act, People Safari, and hopes to tour this summer. The name is inspired by his song about people-watching in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Ill.
“Go skydiving.”
Michelle Philip, 28, said “you only live once.”
“Go to Ireland or New Zealand.”
Krysta Pospichal, 20, is part Irish and dreams of New Zealand because she “heard it’s gorgeous.”
“It’s too early to tell.”
Mohammed Rafeia, 19, is focused on the here and now in college and hopes to “take what I can get out of it: education, fun times, new friends.”
