“If we had Wednesday off too it would be better than just having Thursday off because a lot of people can’t get home in time.”

Stephen McMillan, 22

“Not at all, we should get at least a week. A lot of people are not from here and only have a couple of days to get to their homes and come back. Some people don’t get much time off because they have to work. If they had a week off, they could at least work and have time to spend with their families.”

Mark Horstmeyer, 20

“It’s more than enough. I was able to read a book, write a research paper, have fun and eat Thanksgiving dinner. The first couple days of the week were pointless though. I went to class and really did nothing.”

Krysta Carlson, 19

“If we had Wednesday off, it would have been sufficient. My family lives in northern Minnesota. It was an eight-hour drive and traffic was bad. The only time I get to see family is Christmas and spring break.”

Rachel Williquette, 21

“Wednesday would have been good to have off to have a nice break to relax so it’s not rushed on Thanksgiving.”

Erin Benning, 20

“Yes, it was boring.”
