Mostly B’s: “Miracle on 34th Street”

This movie will remedy your doubts about holiday miracles. A little girl learns how to enjoy life and all its wonders, while discovering that Santa really does exist. This feel-good family movie will make you believe that anything is possible. Watch it: Friday, Dec. 16, at 5 a.m. on HBO; Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 2:30 p.m. on HBO; Saturday, Dec. 24, at 5 a.m. on HBO.

Mostly C’s: “It’s a Wonderful Life”

What would life be like for your family and friends if you had never been born? George Bailey finds out in this movie, which is arguably the most popular Christmas movie of all time. If you’ve got the holiday blues, this movie will help you see that things may not be as bad as they seem. Watch it: Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. on NBC; Saturday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. on NBC.

Mostly D’s: “White Christmas”

Your best bet is to sing along with Bing Crosby in this musical about performers who spend the holidays in Vermont so that they can have a white Christmas. Bing and his friends put on a show to help his former general bring in business to his hotel. This is a favorite movie of classic musical fans. Watch it: Sunday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. on UPN; Saturday, Dec. 24, at 6:30 p.m. on WB.

Mostly E’s: “Scrooged”

You’d rather say “Bah Humbug!” than “Merry Christmas!” “Scrooged” is a modern version of “A Christmas Carol” and stars Bill Murray as Scrooge. Maybe the lessons Scrooge learns will help you earn less coal and more love this holiday. Watch it: Thursday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. and 12:25 a.m. on TBS; Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. on TNT; Sunday, Dec. 18, at 5 a.m. on TNT.

Mostly F’s: “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”

Think your family is weird? Not compared to the Griswolds. All Clark Griswold wants is an old-fashioned, relaxing Christmas, but when his quirky relatives show up, all hell breaks loose. See why Clark is We Energies’ worst nightmare. Watch it: Sunday, Dec. 18, at 8 p.m. on NBC.
