My life as a cuddle slut

It was a nice change to have someone around while I slept, even if they didn’t put out.
I had an interesting few days recently; I slept with three different men in less than a week’s time.
I didn’t have sex with any of my sleepover buddies. This seems to be the time of year where people find cuddling and companionship as important as, if not more than, sex.
After a few slow months in the dating and sex department, I was feeling a little down when I realized I may be good for something to the men I don’t date, have dated or wish I was dating.
The first in the series of men I just slept with was a casual friend who had hurt himself, and I didn’t feel he should drive home. I have had a crush on this boy for ages, but wasn’t about to make a move when he was painfully vulnerable. I put him to bed, put on pajamas, and crawled into bed to quickly pass out. I don’t have a couch, so this was the only viable option.
Although there was no snuggling or touching, I may have fallen asleep with my hand on his shoulder, in a comforting position. When I woke up, he was gone.
Sigh, it usually only happens when I have sex with someone that they leave before I wake up. I don’t think he would assume that anything happened, but you never know.
The next guy I cuddled up to in my crazy sleeping week has been a very good friend of mine for years. He stopped in to visit me at work one night after drinking.
He proceeded to tell me that his girlfriend of two years had just broken up with him that week. He certainly was in no position to drive, so we took a cab to my house and spooned until we fell asleep. Before he left the next morning, he kissed me on my forehead and thanked me for being there for him.
The final man of the week was my most recent ex-boyfriend. We have managed to accomplish the unthinkable; we have pulled from the rubble of our torrid love affair … a friendship!
We met for a drink at the end of the night and decided to watch a movie after bar close. We stopped at my apartment to pick up a movie and my backpack for class the next day, and on to his house we went.
We laid around, watched a movie, ate some late-night snacks and laughed. It resembled a childhood slumber party, only with a guy I used to date. After the movie was over, we crawled into his bed and went to sleep.
The next morning his alarm clock woke me up, as it had a thousand times before. This time was different; I had spent the night at a friend’s house.
Nothing sexual happened with any of these men, but they left me feeling content with myself. I have never been big on cuddling, but I see why it’s so popular. It was a nice change to have someone around while I slept, even if they didn’t put out.
All three of the men are very good looking, so I don’t hesitate to tell people that I slept with them. Well, the two that didn’t leave me in the middle of the night anyway.
At a time when you are single and don’t have much time to date, there are a few things that are necessary to make it through the long, cold winter nights: a hand (or toy), some KY, a good book and a good friend who is willing to be a warm body to snuggle up to when the nights stretch longer and colder.
This may not seem like the ultimate in relationship status for many of you, but with a full class load, a full-time job, homework and entertaining you fine folks, it doesn’t leave a lot of time to find someone to date, or in that case, time to date.
Between being a cuddle slut and keeping busy, this being single thing just may work out.
